The new generation of plastic construction formwork has a standard plywood thickness of 18 mm. These molds can be cut easily and practically with processes such as sawing, chipboard cutting and decoupage.
Features and Uses
Thickness Options:
- In addition to the standard 18 mm thickness, this new generation of polypropylene construction formwork can also be produced in thicknesses of 12 mm, 15 mm and 21 mm. Special molds can be made according to the desired thickness for orders in certain quantities.
Durability and Reuse:
- Polymer construction formwork has become a preferred method instead of plywood because it can be nailed many times. It can be easily used in columns, curtains and beams and thanks to its flexible structure, it can also be used in circular curtain constructions.
- Standard plywood weighs 37 kilograms and exceeds about 40 kilograms when it sees water. But the new generation of plastic construction formwork remains light because it doesn’t get extra heavy.
- Thanks to its smooth surface, it does not stick to concrete and does not require the use of mold release oil. It can be easily cleaned with water and can be used over and over again since it can be easily separated during dismantling and no abrasions such as scratching and cracking occur. Damages, cracks, nail and screw holes can be repaired with sealant.
Dimensions:
- Standard dimensions are 1.25 m wide and 2.50 m long. It can be produced up to a maximum of 10 meters in desired length with special production.
Synchronized Use:
- Perfectly matched when used in combination with plywood. It can be used throughout the four seasons, is not affected by precipitation and does not spontaneously warp when exposed to the sun.
Impact Resistance:
- It is manufactured for work in the construction site environment and is resistant to hard impacts. It will not break easily if the personnel throw it hard or drop it from a height.
Pest and Corrosion Resistance:
- Pests cannot damage new generation plastic construction molds. Thanks to its polypropylene structure, it is not damaged under oxidation and corrosion conditions.
Areas of Use
- It is used as an auxiliary building material in curtain molding, scaffolding platforms, interior partitions of prefabricated buildings, floor coverings, roof coverings, floor and parquet flooring.
- It is used in truck or truck pool hardox trailer floor coverings and side covers, floors of earthquake containers, floors and side coverings in train and ship cargo transportation.
- It is used in cutting benches in textile workshops, kitchen benches, billboard works, garden patio works and dog kennels.
