Depletion of Water Resources

Humans, animals and natural forces around the world are reducing available water resources. Although human awareness, i.e. awareness of the planned use and conservation of water, seems to have increased in the last decade, it is still insufficient. Countries need to invest in more technological water conservation. The consumption of water resources is increasing as a result of human activities. The reasons for this are urbanization, population growth, rising living standards, increased competition for water and pollution. In addition, indirectly, climate change and variations in natural conditions exacerbate the situation.

Some of the Factors Affecting Water Resources

Population increases due to population migration from rural areas with water shortages to urban areas without water problems Human pollution of water Intensive water use for socio-economic convenience Increased competition between users and uses Industrial plant residues mixing with water Pollution from agricultural sources
