GRP Water Tank

You are here:

They are modular water tank panels produced in hydraulic presses with 140-150 ° C (degrees Celsius) temperature and 600 – 1200 tons pressure by reinforcing high quality glass fiber to SMC (Sheet Molding Compound) raw material.

GRP PANEL FEATURES

Since they are pressed at high pressure and temperature, their surfaces are smooth. Thanks to its smooth surface structure, it prevents microorganisms from adhering to the surface. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It has very high UV resistance in outdoor conditions.
It provides heat insulation since its heat transfer coefficient is very low. It can be applied in case extra insulation is required.
Its strength is good thanks to its excellent tensile and bending stress.
Thanks to the high glass fiber ratio in its raw material, Barcol hardness value is high.
GRP water tanks provide excellent and homogeneous pressure distribution thanks to the dished pressing technology.
It has A1 class non-flammability certificate.
It does not show electrical conductivity.
It has TSE certificate.

GRP WAREHOUSE FEATURES

Provides long-term resistance to climate changes. It provides the possibility of tank installation in suitable liters according to your projects. It does not deteriorate the quality of the water inside for a long time. Thanks to the slippery structure inside the tank, microorganisms cannot hold in the water. It provides long-term water storage service for outdoor temperature changes between +5C and +50C. Provides resistance against bad climatic conditions such as snow and wind. Provides easy and practical installation. It provides the opportunity to be moved to another place and re-installed if the work is finished where the tank is located. Provides different design possibilities in case of structures such as columns, walls, etc. There is no maintenance cost. You can use it for many years by cleaning it. It is possible to drain the water completely in curved base installations. It allows you to maintain the quality of the stored water for a long time. GRP composite water tanks are not affected by outdoor temperature changes and adverse environmental conditions such as steel, hot dip galvanized and ready galvanized. They maintain the water they store at the desired temperature. Panel heat permeability can be provided under the desired design parameters by making extra insulation. In cases where the water in the GRP tank needs to be heated or cooled depending on the usage area, it saves energy by acting as a thermostat since there will be no heat loss. It prevents freezing of water in the tank even if the outdoor temperature drops to minus degrees. GRP ensures that the water in the tank maintains its quality for a long time. Microorganisms do not form in the water in the GRP tank. Because the smooth surface structure and composite material content of GRP tank panels prevent the formation of microorganisms in the water. These features of water tanks are certified with WRAS certificate. This structure of composite materials ensures that the water they store is stable and reaches the end users with better quality. This feature is the prominent feature of GRP tanks. If untreated (well, artesian, stream, river, etc.) raw water or chlorinated drinking water is stored in the tank, depending on the chemical content of the water, composite materials show more physical and chemical resistance than ready (electro) galvanized, hot dip galvanized and steel materials. Low maintenance cost; ready-made (electro) galvanized, hot-dip galvanized and steel water tanks corrode more quickly from the inside and outside than GRP tanks depending on the physical conditions of the place where they are installed and the chemical content of the stored water. For this reason, annual maintenance is required to prevent rusting of steel water tanks. Concrete storage tanks need to be insulated before use and insulation maintenance, painting, etc. should be spent during use. Otherwise, it constantly cracks due to seismic movements and causes water loss. Concrete storage tanks require constant maintenance as they are exposed to the external and internal effects of water and the environment. Thanks to GRP water tanks, you have the opportunity to use your water in much cleaner and healthier conditions for long periods of time.

Unlike steel and concrete storage tanks, GRP storage tanks do not require frequent maintenance. Thanks to its high UV resistance, GRP Panels ensure that the tanks are not affected by sun damage, wind and humidity for a long time. Due to this feature, there is no need for any protection or paint during the period of use. It has a longer service life compared to steel and concrete storage tanks. Our GRP modular water tanks are suitable for small and large capacities. GRP tanks offer fast installation in an easy and practical way. After installation, it can be moved to another place of use and installed by renewing the gaskets if necessary. GRP water tanks provide flexible design capability. It is possible to completely drain the stored water. It can be applied from 1 m3 capacity to 10.000 m3 capacity. While it takes 6 months and a huge investment cost to build a concrete tank with a capacity of 10.000 m3, a GRP tank with the same capacity can be installed in 1 month and with less investment cost. The curved bottom design helps the water to flow easily between the panels and reach the drainage line and helps fast tank emptying. Thanks to the smooth flow of water, the tank easily discharges the sediment accumulated in the tank as it empties. GRP water tanks are very easy to transport thanks to their disassembled shipment.
