Thanks to the antioxidant and carbon black mixture special resin used in its production, it is produced as UV resistant / UV resistant depending on chemical, biological and mechanical effects. It is a High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) synthetic waterproofing geomembrane formed by homogeneously shaping polyethylene raw materials of different densities by processing them in extruders. Base insulation is High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) geosynthetic cover called plastic synthetic cover. The plastic sheeting produced shows different density and thickness properties according to different purposes. The surface of the geomembrane covers can be smooth or rough according to the field to be applied. In addition, the HDPE Geomembrane to be used will be provided with a signal layer of different colors on one surface in order to facilitate the detection of damages that will occur on the construction site. For this purpose, HDPE Geomembrane with gray signal layer will be used as it is the color that shows puncture and tear most easily. HDPE covers produced in strips will be joined by welding at the construction site. However, this process must be done and controlled carefully. Anchorage details of HDPE Geomembrane on the slopes will be applied as specified in the project drawings. For this reason, the material to be applied must be in a structure that will provide these details. The HDPE cover in strip form should be 1.00- 3.00 mm thick homogeneously throughout the cover.
HDPE Membrane Types
– HDPE smooth geomembranes, – HDPE one side rough geomembranes – HDPE double side rough geomembranes – LDPE geomembranes – LLDPE geomembranes – VLDPE geomembranes
– HDPE T-Grip geomembranes – HDPE T-Grip staggered geomembranes – PE geomembranes with felt laminate on one side – HDPE drainage sheet
HDPE Membrane Advantages
Long life thanks to its special resin containing antioxidants and carbon black High strength and elongation values Resistant to chemical effects
High UV resistance thanks to carbon black
Possibility to perform air pressure stripping and peeling tests from the joints thanks to the special welding method
Large roll sizes, fast and practical application in large area projects
Application can also be made on high slope areas with products that are rough on one or both sides. Lower density (LLDPE, VLDPE) materials can also be produced for use in different applications.

HDPE GEOMEMBRANE APPLICATION TECHNIQUES
Before Geomembrane Application
Solid Waste slope and base parts will be compacted and prepared with soil filling and insulation will be made. HDPE Geomembrane and Geotextile Felt Application
A layer of Sodium Bentonite Clay Cover shall be laid on the compacted soil so that the joints are overlapped by 10 cm and the application area shall be completely covered. HDPE Geomembrane rolls will be laid on the Sodium Bentonite Clay Cover starting from the anchorage pit, parallel to the slopes and perpendicular to the pond bottom, and placed by making 10 cm overlaps and the joints will be joined by hot fusion welding in a way to protect the 10 cm overlap. Welds made with hot fusion welding will be tested with compressed air (2 bar/2min). After the necessary tests are done, the geomembrane will be covered with a final layer of geotextile felt.
In addition; if filling is done in the sloped parts, geogrid should be used in the filled parts.
