What is Sealant?

You are here:

It is a one-component, elastic, solvent and isocyanate-free, rubber-based polymer-based adhesive sealant used for bonding geomembranes, especially EPDM membranes.

Sealant Working Conditions

EPDM sealants are used for indoor and outdoor applications in hot and cold weather conditions between -40°C and +90°C.

Sealant Usage Areas

It is generally used in construction sector applications as well as in artificial pond, pool and canal water retention applications. It is used in foundation and curtain insulation, terrace insulation, curtain walls, aluminum joinery and window edges, dilatation applications between two building joints.

Sealant Advantages

Provides strong and flexible adhesion to structures and vehicles exposed to vibration. Provides air, water and moisture tightness. Easy to apply at low and high temperatures. It has very good adhesion on almost all surfaces (concrete, glass, galvanized, blind frame, steel, aluminum, brick, aerated concrete, etc.) when thoroughly cleaned and applied and optimum drying is provided. Especially developed for bonding EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer (M-Class) rubber) materials. Thanks to its high adhesion feature, it provides sealing by solving the details in the joints. UV resistant. Thanks to its flexible structure, it does not shrink, shrink, flow, peel, crack. Provides long life in structures since it does not contain solvents and isocyanates. Does not form mold and fungus.

Sealant Packaging Type

600 ml sausage tube sealant.
