EPDM Dilatation Tape
Black and gray color, UV resistant, root retaining, resistant to salts and chemicals in soil and water, resistant to atmospheric conditions, produced in DIN 7864 standard, (Ethylene, Propylene, Diene Monomer, based synthetic elastomer calendering and vulcanizing method produced with flexible properties) 1.50 mm thick, 4 mm diameter on both sides, 2 or 3 rows of perforated EPDM Strips with staggered 4 mm diameter on both sides, makes it possible to apply by adhering to concrete surfaces with epoxy. Roll length is 25 m. It has all the properties of EPDM membrane. It is a dilatation tape with high elasticity (up to 300%) used in the insulation of thermal expansion joints and cracks. Felt EPDM dilatation tape is recommended for dilatation solutions of bituminous structures. The bituminous material is melted with a shank and laminated directly to the felt to provide dilatation.

– In elastic waterproofing of floor – parapet joints. – It is used in joints of different building materials such as steel construction and reinforced concrete. – It can be applied on concrete, plaster, screed, epoxy or cement based repair mortar, wood, sheet metal, aluminum, GRP, epoxy, natural and artificial stone and similar surfaces. – Terraces, balconies, exterior facades, wet areas, parapet walls, building joints and projections, foundation and curtain concrete, building dilatations, concrete pipes, water-carrying containers, swimming pools, waste water units, tunnels and similar underground structures, parking lots and parking areas. KNT adhesive is used for bonding EPDM membrane to walls, wood or metallic surfaces. It is a neoprene based contact adhesive. The average consumption amount is 500 gr/m² and it is applied to both surfaces and glued by applying pressure 10-15 minutes after application.
