In most of the buildings, water leaks occur in both underground and above ground concrete structural elements as a result of mistakes made in waterproofing during the planning or implementation phase. Water leaking gaps and cracks cause problems such as damp floors and surfaces, water permeable joints. The solution of these problems requires good planning, correct material selection and expert application experience. It is ensured by waterproofing with injection method according to the characteristics, dimensions, damage status, the way it is affected by water and other special conditions of the building elements. It provides solutions for ground and surface reinforcement of wet or water-bearing rocks, for waterproofing by closing leaks, cracks and gaps in floors, walls, curtains or well walls, for repairing structures such as tunnels and canals, for reinforcing columns, beams and curtain cracks in reinforced concrete structures, and for ensuring water tightness in elevator wells. Polyurethane injection resin, epoxy injection resin, silicate based injection resin, cement injection, gel injection (acrylate gel, acrylic gel and methacrylate gel) systems are selected and used to prevent leaks by reacting with water. The resins are automatically mixed by a special injection machine and injected directly into the concrete or ground. The injection resins seep into the gaps and cracks where they are injected, completely blocking the water and removing it from the area. Injections are made by following the water leaks until the desired area is completely dry. Depending on the thickness and properties of the concrete, the pressure of the water and the properties of the ground, it takes time for the water to find its way to other neighboring areas, condense and start flowing. In these areas, water leaks are then completely stopped by grouting.
Where is Injection Applied?
Cavities, Cracks, Structural defects, Tunnels, Cold joints, Dilatations, Sections prone to cracking, Leaks, Damaged areas, Pipe penetrations, Stabilization of liquidation walls to prevent slippage caused by ground water, In joints leaking water to concrete, stone and soil surfaces, In soil compaction (reinforcement), In sandy soils and cracked rocks, In parking lots,
In retaining walls,
In waste water treatment plants,
In sewers,
When injection is applied in these areas; water tightness will be ensured since the injection material will work endlessly.
What are the Injection Methods?
Cement Injection
