Bituminous membrane is produced with a mixture obtained by modifying bitumen with polymeric additives (APP and/or SBS). This modification increases the resistance of the product against high and low temperatures and provides ease of application in hot and cold environments. The modified bitumen is impregnated with suitable fiberglass and polyester felt and laminated in different ways suitable for use. (polyethylene film – aluminum foil – mineral stone) Bitumen-based waterproofing membranes provide waterproofing of concrete surfaces under the ground, retaining walls, terraces, concrete roofs, wet floors, road viaducts against water. In the membrane application, torch pürmüz or hot asphalt is applied.
