It consists of a system in which the filter is made of stainless steel with polyethylene housing, the floating ball and fittings are made of polyethylene, the suction hose is made of PVC and the clamp is made of stainless steel. It ensures that the clean water on the top surface of the water tank is drawn with the help of a pump. In standard applications, the suction is under the water tank. However, thanks to the surface suction filter, it is ensured that the water is sucked close to the surface, while at the same time, the ball prevents clogging of the booster or pump in the system.
Surface Suction Filter Features
It is a filter system that absorbs water 10 cm – 15 cm below the water surface with its 50 mesh permeable stainless steel filter with polyethylene housing, which is connected to the pump suction connection, allows rainwater to be collected regularly, prevents wear of the pumps, prevents clogging of the valves used in the system, adapts to all submersible and booster pumps and ensures the transmission of water in the clearest and mud-free way.
Surface Suction Filter Types
Connection diameter (D) DN 32 (1 14 inches), Diameter (A) 10.5 cm and Height (H) 23.5 cm Connection diameter (D) DN 50 (2 inches), Diameter (A) 10.5 cm and Height (H) 21 cm.
Surface Suction Filter Working Principle
A filter with chrome wire and a floating ball work synchronously. After the hose fitting is placed on the connection nut that comes as a system, it is attached to the male sleeve at the bottom of the chrome wire reservoir and fixed with the help of a hose clamp. The other end of the hose is connected to the suction port of the submersible pump or booster pump to be used in the system and fixed with a hose clamp. If the surface suction filter is to be connected directly to the booster, it is connected to the tank suction port. If it is a side suction submersible pump, it is connected directly. If it is a submersible pump with bottom suction, the connection is made after the supply is taken from a single point with the help of the coupled part.
How to Clean the Surface Suction Filter?
Normally the filter is serviced once a year. If cleaning is necessary, remove the filter from the hose connection, clean it with a stiff bristle brush and rinse thoroughly. We do not recommend using a wire brush for cleaning. The length of the hose should be well calculated in order to reach the filter during cleaning.
