Santaş Takes Innovative Steps in Insulation
Santaş Technological Insulation Systems, which makes water, heat and sound insulation in the construction sector, continues to work by following the latest technologies in this field with its 18 years of experience. Santaş Technological Insulation Systems, which serves throughout the country, especially in the Çukurova region, enables workplaces and residences to save energy with its service. Pointing out that noise pollution is one of the problems of the age, Murat Madenlioğlu, general manager of Santaş Technological Isolation Systems, noted that sound isolation is as important in housing and workplaces as water isolation in the foundation during the construction phase. Drawing attention to the fact that sound pollution causes serious discomfort in all kinds of living spaces, Madenlioğlu stated that the sounds coming from the ceiling, floor and side in apartments and workplaces in residences are caused by the lack of importance to isolation. Explaining that with the efforts of associations operating in the field of insulation, the state has come to the agenda to make sound insulation compulsory, Madenlioğlu said, “We estimate and hope that it will be implemented under the supervision of building inspection companies in new construction construction. Emphasizing that thermal insulation also provides great savings in both costs and energy, Madenlioğlu reminded that exterior insulation is compulsory in new buildings, Madenlioğlu said that in old buildings, people try to have it done with their own means, Madenlioğlu said that some countries provide incentives for insulation, “In Turkey, it was essential for the state to support energy saving. We expect the state incentives, which we are waiting with hope, to be used in our country as soon as possible.” Madenlioğlu said that offering solutions from the foundation to the roof in water insulation, especially foundation insulation is among the sine qua non for Turkey, which is in the earthquake zone, and reminded that waterproofing in buildings became compulsory with the planned areas zoning regulation published by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization on July 3, 2017. Madenlioğlu “conditions were published in the official gazette dated 27.10.2017. 01.6.2018 came into force on the application. With the aforementioned regulation, the waterproofing application covering buildings 51.50 m in height and larger than 10 thousand will be an example in other constructions and will be among the must-haves.”
