Santaş broke new ground in Mersin with Izofull, the new dealership of which it has just acquired Santaş Technological Insulation Systems Owner Nurettin Madenlioğlu said that they broke new ground in Mersin by acquiring the dealership of Izofull heat insulated plasters in 2007. Explaining that they have been working on sound insulation in Mersin since 2000, Madenlioğlu also reported that this year they focused on heat insulation with their new products. Pointing out that their new product provides water and sound insulation as well as heat, Madenlioğlu said that this product can be used inside buildings as well as on roofs. Madenlioğlu said, “I can say that this product is the latest technology especially for thermal insulation. With approximately 40 percent insulation, it provides 2 times more insulation than its closest competitor and creates energy savings close to 50 percent.” Nurettin Madenlioğlu pointed out that greater efficiency can be achieved if this plaster is applied under the ceramics or parquets due to the collapse of cold air to the floor in areas cooled by air conditioning, and if İzofull plaster is applied to the ceiling to protect the hot air that will rise to the ceiling in winter, thus protecting the structure like a thermos and preventing leakage at the maximum level. Mentioning that the application of this plaster is quite easy, Madenlioğlu noted that it does not require special mastery and that even a paint master can easily apply it. Stating that their main activity in Mersin is sound insulation and that they are the dealer of American Siding, Nurettin Madenlioğlu said that the interest in this product is increasing day by day. Noting that they started the year quite well, Madenlioğlu said, “When aesthetics and quality are together in American Siding, the demand increases. In the past, demand came only from villas, but now even apartment buildings want to have it done. I can say that American Siding is now a fashion,” Madenlioğlu said. “We will be on the market with 2 brands at the end of the year” On the other hand, Nurettin Madenlioğlu said that they will start selling ready-mixed plaster under 2 different brands at the end of 2007 and added, “We have registered the brands Penfix and Penkim Extra. We will have these products, which will be used in PVC, aluminum and steel door applications, contract-filled and sell them under our own brand.” Madenlioğlu also mentioned that the establishment of the factories that will produce these products does not require very high costs and said, “However, we must first see the way ahead. If we get the efficiency we want, we can also establish a factory in the future.” Likewise, Nurettin Madenlioğlu explained that this year they had contract filling of antirust paints with the industry under the Su-Ba brand, and that these paints come from Switzerland in 500-1000 liter barrels and that they fill them in Turkey and sell them under their own brand name. Finally, Nurettin Madenlioğlu also mentioned that they started to deal with roofing this year and said, “We were always covering the exterior of the building and when our customers demanded us to do roofing, we started roofing business. We bring 2-3 layer ceramic content Shıngles from abroad and lay them. Other products of this kind are sand-added and give off heat, but if a ceramic
additive product is used, the user is comfortable as it does not pass heat.”
