However, it is sensitive to basic substances if the pH is greater than ll. Additives can be used to improve material properties Polypropylene, Polyethylene (PP, PE) The main feature of this group is their high resistance to low and medium concentrations of chemicals. However, they are sensitive to creep and easily flammable. Two different types of polyethylene are used in geotextile production. These are; LDPE Low density polyethylene (Density 920-930 kg\/m3), HDPE High density polyethylene (Density 940-960 kg\/m3) LDPE; It is used in cases where bending is important and resistance to water vapor is desired. HDPE; A more solid and rigid structure is obtained. In addition, the chemical resistance of HDPE is higher than LDPE. Polyethylene can also improve its properties by adding additives.
