One of these reasons is the decrease in precipitation amounts. Since the decrease in snow and rain water is a serious factor in the decrease in water resources, this effect, which further deepens the problem of water scarcity, poses a great threat to both ecosystem balance and human life.    <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Decrease_in_Snow_and_Rainwater\"><\/span><b>Decrease in Snow and Rainwater  <\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Snowfall is the main source of freshwater resources in many regions. The water that fills rivers and lakes as the snow melts is vital for water supply during the summer months. As a result of global warming, snowfall is decreasing and snow cover is melting earlier, leading to insufficient water resources.    <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rainfall is essential for the renewal cycle of groundwater and surface water. However, climate change is causing rainfall to decrease in almost all regions. Especially in arid and semi-arid areas, the lack of rainfall negatively affects agriculture, water supply and all ecosystems. Water storage has become a necessity rather than a need. The use of water reservoirs is becoming more and more imperative to ensure the sustainability of water resources in the face of decreasing rainfall.      <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Why_is_a_Water_Tank_Necessary\"><\/span><b>Why is a Water Tank Necessary?<\/b><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Contributing to the protection of water resources and sustainable water management, water tanks allow rain and snow water to be collected and stored. Thanks to a water tank, access to water is possible even during periods of low rainfall. Of course, the tonnage of the water tank needed at this point should be well calculated. If there is agriculture, there are water tanks with variable liters according to it, if there is an industrial use, if there is a need for drinking water, according to it, according to the number of people present.     <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Water reservoirs serve as a vital backup source of water during periods of drought. Stored water can be used for agricultural irrigation, drinking water supply and other uses.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Water tanks play an active role in reducing daily water consumption. It has been observed that less water is spent psychologically when it does not come from mains water. Collecting and storing rainwater contributes to lower water bills by reducing the use of mains water.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Collecting rain and snow water and storing it in water tanks contributes to the natural water cycle, ensuring more efficient use of water resources and supporting environmental sustainability.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Water tanks reduce water supply costs. Especially in the agricultural sector, water tanks reduce irrigation costs and increase productivity through regular irrigation.   <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Water_Tank_Usage\"><\/span><b>Water Tank Usage<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> <\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/santasizolasyon.com.tr\/en\/what-is-the-importance-of-a-water-tank\/\">Water tanks<\/a> can be applied both at individual and community level according to <a href=\"https:\/\/santasizolasyon.com.tr\/en\/what-is-the-importance-of-a-water-tank\/\">the importance<\/a> and needs. Polyethylene tank, inflatable tank, modular tank (electrogalvanized, hot dip galvanized, 304 quality chrome steel, 316 quality chrome steel), fiber tank (composite, GRP, GRP) are water storage systems that can be applied.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Rainwater Harvesting Systems:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Collecting and storing rainwater flowing from roof gutters is the most economical use of water tanks. The stored water can be used for purposes such as garden irrigation, toilet reservoirs and cleaning.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Underground Water Tanks:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Underground water tanks are suitable for long-term storage of large quantities of water to ensure continuity in water supply. It can be manufactured up to 120 tons in one piece. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Recycling Systems:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  It is the treatment and recycling of used water (gray water). These systems contribute to the protection of water resources by reducing water consumption.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Drinking water tanks:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Clean drinking water is the right of every human being. For this reason, clean water supply becomes difficult for municipalities in cases where mains water is insufficient, in disaster situations (floods, earthquakes, fires) and in case of malfunctions. For this reason, water tanks are important in individual need solutions. Especially in clean water needs, collecting water in water tanks plays a day-saving role.     <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Domestic water Tanks:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Water tanks are required to meet the needs for daily water consumption. Water tanks are needed in liters and tonnages determined according to the number of people living in the houses, the use of dishwashers and washing machines, toilet and bathroom needs. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Global climate change and decreasing precipitation are among the major problems threatening water resources. Therefore, our priority is to protect existing water resources. The second is to save water by preventing water from being wasted. The third is the use of water storage for combating drought and environmental sustainability.
